Andrew Lloyd Williams – NEBOSH
“Ricky Plumb is a vastly knowledgeable and experienced instructor. His ability to relate theoretical applications of law and legislation to real life scenarios makes very complex work significantly easier to understand. Ricky and PIP can not do enough for their students. I completed the NEBOSH course during a patch of inclement weather, and Ricky could not do enough to work around the students needs, giving any extra tuition anyway and anywhere it was asked for. I would wholeheartedly recommend PIP”
Michelle Umagho-Ukueku – NEBOSH Construction
“I really wanted to commend Ricky and his great staff for getting me to where I am with the results – Ricky, thank you very much for getting me to put the flesh on the bones lol!”
Louise Owen – BIFM Level 4 Diploma in Facilities Management
“I have recently completed the Level 4 Diploma in Facilities Management which was a challenging course, but very worthwhile in doing. I have already been able to apply what I’ve learned to my current role in Facilities Management. PIP Services Ltd provided excellent course material and support throughout the course and without the level of support they provided I’m sure this process would have been far more challenging.”
Danny Turnbull – BIFM Level 4 Certificate in Facilities Management
“I completed the BIFM level 4 in just under the two year time frame. I was currently working in facilities management prior to starting the course (which helped) but throughout the course, at times I did find it a bit challenging. Through my own dedication and support & guidance from PIP Services Ltd, I managed to get through the course successfully. PIP were very supportive and there for me in my challenging times of completing the course, I would certainly recommended anyone to study with PIP and I will definitely use them again in the future.”
Matthew Kemp – BIFM Level 4 Certificate in Facilities Management
“Having not studied or written any essays since my school days I found this a challenging course, but PIP were excellent in supporting me through the whole process. If I ever had a question Neil would be more than happy to answer them. I was given constructive feedback throughout the process on each module and the training materials you are given are at a high level. I would highly recommend PIP to anyone thinking of re-training or wanting to gain a qualification.”
Peter Keane – SMSTS Refresher
“I would recommend PIP to others as I found the course layout and quality of the training extremely good. I also thought that Billy was an excellent trainer. He made you feel relaxed straight off the bat and his delivery of the information and teaching methods were excellent. Thanks again and keep up the good work.”
Richard Phillips – BIFM Level 4 Certificate in Facilities Management
“Course well presented and supported.”
Gavin Harper – NEBOSH and BIFM
“A great team delivered the training and provided support throughout the learning experience. A relaxed yet professional environment encouraged learning and delivered the hard going subject with a good balance of humour and professionalism.”
Karolina Mysliwiec – BIFM Level 4 Certificate in Facilities Management
“I have successfully completed the Level 4 Certificate in facilities Management and found PIP Support very helpful throughout the process. They were available to answer any of my questions and were very approachable and helpful! The response time was very quick too, the staff at PIP take their job very seriously and actually care about their candidates. I would highly recommend using this company to try and gain your qualifications!”
Scott – Royal Navy
“Having finished my time in the Royal Navy I needed to do resettlement. Not wanting to be corralled by the CTP …where you’re just another ex-serviceman looking at a new career, I decided to give PIP a shot. Not only did they advise me on course practicality but they bent over backwards to accommodate me with timescales of courses and support throughout.
I can’t praise them enough. From EAT Level 3 with first aid at work, NEBOSH general certificate even Ricky with Fire Risk Assessors course, none stop guidance and support.
All I can say is any serving or ex forces looking to resettle, give these guys a shout. There is no personal touch, or one to one touches, like PIP.
Mark Thrower – CITB SMSTS
“Very professional and Excellence in education and training I’d recommend them to anyone, the support I received while doing a SSSTS Course was fantastic and at the same time made it enjoyable to learn I’ve come away from PIP knowing they have helped me further my career again I very Highly recommend PIP Service’s”
Nikki Norris – Multiple courses for multiple people
“Very professional – very helpful and friendly – I have attended courses Here and book lots of courses like F@W, working at Height , manual handling, risk assessment, asbestos awareness , IOSH & NEBOSH for our 150 plus engineers. Highly recommend these for your training needs”
Colin – NEBOSH General Certificate & BIFM Level 4 Diploma in Facilities Management
“As part of my preparation for the transition from the Forces into civilian life I have successfully studied two courses with PIP.
The first being the NEBOSH National General Certificate which was classroom based and expertly delivered. The learning support material was excellent and enabled me to gain this industry recognised qualification.
The second course was the Level 4 Diploma in Facilities Management. I studied this course via distance learning. As with my first course the learning support material was of a high standard giving me the foundation to complete all my assignments. More importantly the feedback from PIP on every assignment proved invaluable. Taking note and acting on the feedback from the PIP internal verifier meant I passed all 10 units.
I would be more than happy to use PIP again for my future training needs based on the quality of the learning material and support I have experienced with them.”
(NEBOSH General Certificate & NEBOSH Construction Certificate)
“I have done my NEBOSH qualifications with PIP Training and I have had an enjoyable experience. The courses are quite intense as it is a lot of info to retain in a short period of time, however with the help of my tutors (Ricky and Neil) I have managed not only to achieve the qualifications I wanted but also I was shown that PIP are one (quite rare nowadays) training provider which operates in a professional manner and they genuinely put an effort in to help the candidates to achieve their goals.
I am glad I chose PIP to do my training!!
Many thanks to all PIP team members and specially to Mr Ricky Plumb for his support!!”
Markus Strydom MC, HM Forces
“My first encounter with PIP was attending their courses being run at the Personnel Recovery Centre for injured servicemen and women in Colchester where my interest in Health & Safety was stimulated. I moved forward with “PIP” and completed an “ELC package” comprising of the NEBOSH National General Certificate, NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate and BIFM level 4 Facilities Management. Completing this package and receiving the highly regarded and valued qualifications has helped enormously with my transition from military to civilian life. They have been vital to me taking up full time employment within the Health and Safety sector where I have been appointed to a H&S management position at the Battersea Power Station refurbishment.
All training is carried out in a friendly atmosphere with all candidates carried along at the same pace. With a strong understanding of the services resettlement process and a high course pass rate, I would happily recommend PIP to any person whether a service leaver or civilian.
Thank you PIP.”
Neil Holmes, Freelance Trainer & Consultant
“I was introduced to “PIP” by a fellow Army tradesman who had used their services during his resettlement from Army to civilian life and highly recommended them. I used my funding for NEBOSH courses which I knew were extremely highly valued in the civilian market. I was that impressed with “PIP’s” overall commitment to providing the best experience for every candidate and their willingness to go “above and beyond” that I used my final allocation of limited funding to complete my NEBOSH certificate portfolio and top up with some other speciality courses ( I now have NEBOSH General, Construction, Fire, Environmental and Oil and Gas). After both sets of courses, I was that impressed with the entire “PIP” attitude, professionalism and commitment to only producing the highest standards, that I now work with them on different projects. The whole experience has taken me from a student to a competent specialist able to work for myself and other companies.”
Readford Geddes, HM Forces
“I initially looked at completing the Silver package in order to boost the civilian qualifications on my CV to get past the gatekeeper for further employment. Whilst achieving this aim I quickly realised that skills honed in the military could be used to train others and now utilising PTTLS qualification to deliver courses. This has opened up a whole new opportunity for me.”
Mato Dharminder, Closed Loop Recycling

Rebekah Gilbert, Griffonage
International Search and Executive Coaching
(After gaining a Diploma in Nutrition and Health with Honours)
“There was a lot of self-learning on this distance-learning course, however, if I got stuck, or was unsure of something, PIP was always at the end of the phone or email to provide help and assistance (even at weekends!).
PIP provided first class support over the six months when I was studying and were very welcoming and helpful when I arrived to sit the exam.
The result is very good news for the quality of PIP’s training, and aid given to candidates, so thank you very much indeed”.
Melanie Robinson, Workforce Development Manager, The Adult College
